APIA Studio Lab is a Mumbai-based architecture and interior design studio founded by Aman Khanna and Pooja Shah-Divecha. The studio works across the complete design process, beginning with early project understanding and concept development and continuing through detailed design, coordination and execution. Its approach places importance on the relationship between a project, its physical setting and the people who will use the space.
The studio provides interior design services for projects ranging from individual rooms to complete floors, along with residential architecture for bungalows, villas and hillside retreats. Its architectural work also extends to commercial environments such as offices, retail spaces and mixed-use buildings. APIA Studio Lab also provides project management, coordinating consultants, contractors and project timelines through execution. The firm's design philosophy is built around three broad principles: responding to the context of a place, using materials and craftsmanship thoughtfully, and designing around lived experience.
