About Company
Sitapra & Associates is one of India's oldest interior design firms, with a legacy dating back to 1951. Established by Mr. Devji Purshottam Sitapra as a woodworking and interior craftsmanship workshop in Bowbazar, Kolkata, the company has evolved through three generations into a full-service architecture and interior design practice. Today, the firm combines traditional craftsmanship with contemporary design principles, delivering bespoke spaces that preserve heritage while embracing modern functionality.
The firm specializes in residential interiors, luxury villas, heritage home restoration, commercial offices, retail spaces, hospitality projects, and turnkey interior execution. Its comprehensive services include interior design, architecture, space planning, custom furniture, material selection, heritage restoration, project management, civil work, carpentry, electrical and plumbing coordination, HVAC integration, and complete design consultation. Every project follows a structured workflow beginning with discovery and client consultation, followed by design development, 2D layouts, 3D visualizations, material specification, execution, quality control, and final handover.
Currently led by the third generation of the Sitapra family, including Ankit Sitapra, alongside Pramod Sitapra and Pradip Sitapra, the company has successfully completed more than 250 projects across 15+ cities in India. Its portfolio ranges from heritage residences and luxury apartments to corporate offices, boutique hotels, restaurants, and premium commercial developments. The firm's philosophy emphasizes timeless design, exceptional craftsmanship, and meticulous attention to detail, ensuring every project reflects the client's personality while maintaining enduring value.
With more than seven decades of experience, Sitapra & Associates continues to create elegant, functional, and enduring interiors.
